If you possess full Medical Registration in New South Wales, Sydney Medical Service may be able to facilitate you acquiring a Provider Number so as to enable you to perform house calls on behalf of the Service.

Regular and casual shifts are available.

A core component in our provision of critical health services is the involvement of locum doctors who are responsible for the treatment of our patients at their homes, outside of normal surgery operating hours.

You are invited as a registered general practitioner to become part of the Sydney Medical Service outbound after hours team. Our aim is to recruit as many doctors as we possibly can; maximising delivery of clinical care, and with the resolute objective of reducing the present encumbrance of patient delay times.

Pay dispensation rates are especially generous, as such work attracts the higher tier Medicare rate.

Depending upon the scope of your involvement, a driver, vehicle, and communications equipment would also be provided.
