As our service is run by doctors for doctors, with the help of a skilled business team and advanced technological equipment, we understand what is required to provide an efficient, ethical and economic service.

Sydney Medical Service has attained accreditation by the Royal Australian College Of General Practitioners (RACGP) Standards.

Since our inception in 1966 as one of the first medical deputising services in Australia, we have continually developed our service to meet doctor & patient needs. Our ''state of the art'' technology enables efficient and thorough service from initial call taking and doctor deployment to patient visit, treatment, and the processing and recording of patient's notes.

Our experienced after-hours telephonists will take your patient's call and pass on the details to the nearest available locum along with the appropriate notes & history of visits if the patient has been seen by our Service before.

Our medical staff are all General Practitioners who have full registration in NSW and have experience in General Practice.
